Sex in the workplace is in the news today.  Cain has spent weeks battling accusations from now up to four women.  His candidacy is in jeopardy.  How many politicians have been brought down by an inappropriate comment, a text, a photograph in a compromising position or worse yet an allegation of rape or sexual battery?  How many athletes have seen their career to down the tubes being falsely accused of sexual misconduct or a sex crime?  How many college athletes have seen their careers end with a false accusation from a woman?

Sexual harassment rarely results in criminal sex crime charges.  There as to be an actual touching for it to rise to the level of a crime.  On the other hand texting an image of inappropriate sexual conduct can be charged as a sex crime if it falls into the hands of an underage person

As a criminal defense attorney I am keenly aware of the consequences of being falsely accused.  A person entire future can and in most instances will be ruined by simply an accusation.  Regardless of whether Cain did it or not, how many people have already made up their mind bases simply on the accusation.
